Friday, October 4, 2002, at 9 a.m. the Judges of Election and interested candidates and/or their observers picked up the ballots from the Beverly Hill Station Post Office, 2202 S. Cockrell Hill, Dallas, Texas. The Ballots were transported to teh tally site at the National Postal Mail Handlers Union Hall, 2849 West Illinois Ave., Dallas, Texas.

The Judges of Elections tallied the ballots. The counting process continued non-stop until completion. The candidate who received the largest number of votes cast was declared elected. After certification of the election results by Judges of Elections, the newly elected officer will be installed in office as soon as practicable. The term of office will be for the expiration of the current 3 year term.
